Sheplates is a hyperlocal food marketplace connecting people with trusted local food businesses in their neighbourhood. From home chefs and home bakers to local grocers, meat & fish shops, fruit & vegetable vendors, and specialty food businesses, we make discovering and ordering local food simple.

Our Journey

Sheplates began during the COVID-19 pandemic to deliver nutritious home-cooked meals to people who needed them most.

Our pilot served 13,500+ meals to 400+ subscribers through 8,000+ deliveries. As customer needs evolved, we introduced personalized meals for pregnant women, senior citizens, people with diabetes, and renal patients, while building a strong network of passionate home chefs.
